He was suffering from dementia for three years. The hero of all the great memories of football lovers forgot about his achievements. That unbearable time did not last long. He went to the other side. According to the family, he died peacefully at his home.

Charlton, who scored 49 goals in 109 matches for England, was the country's top scorer for a long time. Wayne Rooney broke his goal record for England in 2015. Harry Kane also surpassed Rooney in 2022. Attacking midfielder, central midfielder and left winger could play in all three positions. 1956 to 1973 - played almost the entire time of his club career in Manchester United.
